- Kodiak became carbon neutral in 2022 through the purchase of carbon offsets and has committed to decreasing its carbon emissions by 2030
- Our Environmental & Wildlife Management Program includes migratory/nesting bird and species at risk surveys, invasive species surveys and wildlife observations, as well as procedures for preventing disturbance to aquatic life and habitat
- Mitigation strategies have been implemented for specific species of interest at the request of First Nations
- Water management includes water protection measures and baseline water quality sampling and flow rate measurements in work areas during spring, summer and fall
- Ground disturbance is minimized, with progressive reclamation of new work sites and remediation of historic sites
