About Us

Kodiak Copper Corp. (TSX.V:KDK, OTCQB:KDKCF) is focused on discovering copper, the most critical metal for the energy transition and AI by exploring its projects in Canada and the USA.

Kodiak Copper was founded by Chairman Chris Taylor, the founder and CEO of Great Bear Resources which was acquired by Kinross Gold in 2022 for $1.8B. The Company is led by Claudia Tornquist (former GM at Rio Tinto) and is a member of Discovery Group. The management team has shown the ability to raise capital while protecting a tight share structure and attracting strategic investors such as Teck Resources.

The Company’s most advanced asset is the 100% owned MPD copper-gold porphyry project in the prolific Quesnel Terrane in south-central British Columbia, Canada, a mining district with producing mines and excellent infrastructure. MPD has all the hallmarks of a major, multi-centered porphyry district with the potential to become a world-class mine. Work to date has outlined multiple substantial mineralized zones across the property, including the large, high-grade Gate Zone and higher-grade mineralization from surface at the West and Adit Zones. Kodiak expects to complete a National Instrument 43-101 compliant resource estimate for MPD in 2025. In addition, with known mineralized zones open to expansion and more target areas yet to be tested, Kodiak continues to systematically explore – there is a lot more potential to be unlocked at MPD.

The Company also holds the Mohave copper-molybdenum-silver porphyry project in Arizona, USA, near the world-class Bagdad mine.
