Managing and directing exploration for Kodiak for the past two years, Mr. Ward has been active in base metal, precious metal, uranium and diamond projects across Canada for over 35 years. As a geologist, he held senior positions in companies involved in grass-roots exploration to advanced evaluation, resource definition and feasibility assessment. Prior to joining Kodiak, Mr. Ward’s most recent positions were President of Kivalliq Energy Corporation and Regional Project Manager - General Manager, Laboratory Services for Ashton Mining of Canada Inc./ Stornoway Diamond Corp.  As Kodiak’s designated Qualified Person, Mr. Ward has been a registered Professional Geoscientist in Canadian jurisdictions for over 20 years.


Dave Skelton, P.Geo

Dave Skelton, P.Geo

Mr. Skelton is a Professional Geologist with over 35 years in the mineral exploration industry. His diverse background spans all aspects of the project pipeline from early stage exploration to mine development, with a primary focus on the design and implementation of exploration programs. Mr. Skelton’s experience includes managing programs in various Canadian jurisdictions and Australia with budgets of up to $50M. As Vice President Project Development for Stornoway Diamond Corporation, he was part of the corporate team that developed the Renard Mine in Quebec and since 2020 has been a senior manager on Kodiak’s MPD project.

Nancy Curry, BA

As a senior corporate communications and development professional with over 25 years of experience she brings industry recognized best practices to shareholder and stakeholder communication to Kodiak, in addition to her strengths in corporate development, finance and strategic planning. Ms. Curry has focused her career in the resource sector with experience from grass roots exploration to development stage assets across multiple commodities (copper, gold, uranium and diamonds) and been nominated twice for Best Investor Relations by of a TSX Venture Exchange Company by IR Magazine. Ms. Curry believes in giving back to the community, she co-founded an annual Christmas Toy Drive supported by the mining industry and is currently a director of Global Change for Children.

Mark Laycock is a  CPA, CGA with over 15 years of accounting and finance experience in both private and public companies listed on the Canadian and U.S. stock exchanges. Over the past five years Mr. Laycock has provided senior accountant and financial reporting services to a number of listed companies including Great Bear Resources Ltd., Northern Empire Resources, Solstice Gold Corp., and Kodiak.

Co-manages exploration and operations activities for Kodiak.  Has more than 35 years of both surface and underground experience with gold, copper, uranium and diamond deposits in North America, South America and Africa.  With a foundation in Canadian precious metal and base metal deposits in Ontario, BC and the Yukon, Mr. Berry most recently spent almost 10 years with Kivalliq Energy Corporation as Chief Operating Officer and more than 15 years as Project Manager with Ashton Mining of Canada Inc. and Stornoway Diamond Corp.

Emily McNie, B.Sc

Project geologist for Kodiak Copper Corporation with 10 years of diversified exploration experience in precious metals, base metals, uranium and diamonds in British Columbia, Nunavut and Saskatchewan. Background includes project management and supervision, technical and regulatory reporting, permitting, environmental compliance and community relations.

Harpreet Bajaj, B.Com, MBA

Harpreet Bajaj has an MBA in Finance and over 13 years of professional experience in compliance and investment banking. Prior to joining Kodiak, Ms. Bajaj held a position with the TSX Venture Exchange and with MNC bank in its due diligence division. In addition, Ms. Bajaj works with a number of other private and public companies managing their corporate compliance needs.
